Runkeeper: export your activities as GPX
Runkeeper exports from the website: Account Settings, Export Data, choose a date range, and download a zip with one GPX file per activity plus a CSV. From Runkeeper's own help. What the file has and how to get it to Strava or a print.
Runkeeper's export is a bulk one, on the website, and it gives you exactly what you want: one GPX per activity.
Where it is
Sign in at runkeeper.com → the settings icon top right → Account Settings → Export Data in the left menu → under *Export activity data*, set a start and end date → Export Data. The file is prepared in the background; refresh the page until Download Now appears, then download the zip. Runkeeper's help page *How to export your Runkeeper data* describes the same steps.
What is in the zip
One GPX per activity in the range, named by date, plus a CSV with the totals. The GPX has the route, elevation and time, and heart rate where it was recorded. What a GPX file is.
One activity
Set the range to a single day. There is no per-activity button, but a one-day export is the same thing.
Runkeeper to Strava
For the history: export, unzip, and upload the GPX files on strava.com a few at a time — how. Community tools exist that automate it against your login; the manual way is an afternoon and needs no passwords handed over.
The other direction
Runkeeper imports GPX, TCX and FIT on the website, singly and in bulk, according to its help pages — useful if Runkeeper is where you want the archive to live.
Then what
Any GPX, FIT or TCX opens in the viewer to check it, uploads to Strava (how), and goes into the editor to become a print of the route with the numbers from the file. The other watches and apps are in the device guides.
Questions people actually ask
- How do I export a GPX from Runkeeper?

- Can I import GPX files into Runkeeper?
