The Festive 500 is eight days, 500 kilometres, and weather nobody would choose. It is not one ride — it is a set of them, and that is a different kind of poster.

Why this one is not a route print
A single ride makes a line. Eight rides in eight days make a shape — which days were long, which were the ones you dragged yourself out for, and how the total climbed towards 500.
That is what the Data prints are for. The Stack draws every metre you climbed; The Year draws twelve bars; The Streak draws a square for each day. Bring the whole set of rides and the poster is about the week, not about a route.
Or: the one ride that hurt most
If one of the eight is the one you want on the wall — the one in the rain on the 29th — that is an ordinary route print, made from that single file.
Both work. The difference is whether the story is a line or a week.
How it works
- Ride the challenge. Strava counts it; we do not need the challenge itself, only the files.
- Connect Strava, or export the rides and drop them in. The Data prints need at least ten activities before they open.
- Choose the motif, the size and the colourway.
- We print it and post it — worth ordering in the first week of January while the legs still remember.
Questions people actually ask
Do I need to finish the 500 km?
No. The poster draws what you actually rode. Four hundred kilometres in eight days is still a week worth hanging up, and the sheet says the real number.
Do indoor rides count?
For the challenge, Rapha allows them. For a route print they do not work — a trainer records no position — but they count perfectly well in the Data prints, which are drawn from distance, time and dates rather than geography.
How many activities do I need?
Ten, for the Data prints. A single ride needs only itself.
Will it arrive before New Year?
Almost certainly not, and we would rather say so. Two to four working days to print plus shipping, over a holiday period. Order it in January.
