Every tool on this page runs on your machine. The file is parsed and drawn by the same code that draws our prints, and it is not sent anywhere — close the tab and nothing remains. Each has a Print this route button that opens the editor with the file already loaded, if the route turns out to be worth hanging — and a See it on a map button that does the same with a terrain map behind the line. The tools themselves draw a clean line and make no map requests; the map lives in the editor.
View
GPX viewer — open GPX, FIT and TCX files and see the route with distance, moving time and elevation. FIT file viewer — the same tool for the binary files watches write, including `.fit.gz` from a Strava export. Elevation profile — the route with its profile underneath, and the gain the file supports.
Convert
FIT to GPX — position, elevation and time out of a FIT file. TCX to GPX — the same for Garmin's older XML. GPX to KML — for Google Earth and Google My Maps. GPX to image — the route as a PNG or an SVG. GPX to FIT — a course file for a Garmin's Courses folder, when you want the route on the device without going through Garmin Connect.
Combine
Personal heatmap generator — every activity from a bulk export drawn on one sheet, the roads you use most darkest. Strava has no export for its own heatmap; this is made from your files.
Edit
GPX editor — trim the start and end, split a file in two, join several into one, reverse the direction. Drop one file or many; download the result as GPX, or send it straight to the print editor.
How to get the files out of Strava, Garmin and the apps is in the guides.
